A CHIEF’S WELCOME
CORY MASSETH
CHIEF OF FISHERS FIRE DEPARTMENT
It is with great pride that I welcome you to the official web site of the Fishers Fire Department. It is my hopes that you, our community, get a chance to see the best of the Fire Service through the eyes of our dedicated volunteers and paid staff. For the past 87 years these men and woman have been dedicated to serving our community.
Serving 26 square miles of the Town of Victor, the Fishers Fire Department has 2 fire stations and approximately 25 active volunteer members, 4 career firefighters and 2 fire station maintainers. In 2008 the Fishers Fire Department responded to 424 emergency calls.
Your Fishers Firefighters and EMT's stand ready 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to resolve your emergencies. We invite you to navigate through our web site, learn more about the men and women who are there for you, and be proud to know such a strong organization exists within our town.
In 2008, I took the position of Chief of Department, along with the solid foundation of leadership and expertise in my 4 Line Officers; Deputy Chief Jill Zak, Capt Bob Murray, Capt Andy Stromfeld, and Safety Officer Mark Tolbert.
On our site you will find everything from a community calendar, to fire prevention education, to latest news, old news, and how to become a member. We urge you to review this content to increase the “In home” safety to both you, and your loved ones.
We hope your enjoy our web site and get a better picture of us, your community, and what you can do to keep your family safe. On behalf of the proud men and women of our department, we thank you for visiting our web site and hope that you visit again soon.
Regards, Cory Masseth, Chief of Department
